Job Summary: The Deposit Sales Officer is responsible for the overall management and performance of the branch, combining operational excellence with strategic business development and sales execution. This role ensures effective day-to-day operations, compliance with banking standards, and achievement of branch sales targets—particularly in the growth of CASA (Current and Savings Account) deposits.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and direct the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our customers
* Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients, retain existing customers, and grow the branch's deposit and loan portfolio.
* Manage and mentor a team of branch personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforce
* Collaborate with other branches and departments to share best practices and identify opportunities for process improvements
* Monitor branch performance metrics and implement corrective actions to achieve business goals
* Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations, policies, and procedures
* Participate in the planning and execution of marketing and promotional activities to increase the branch's visibility and market share
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar branch management or banking leadership role, preferably in the retail banking sector
* Proven track record of driving branch business growth, managing a team, and delivering exceptional customer service
* Strong understanding of retail banking operations, products, and services, as well as a keen awareness of the local market dynamics
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively engage with customers, team members, and stakeholders
* Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and performance management
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
