Your role We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support one of our clients by bridging the gap between complex mechanical engineering and high-level business strategy. This role goes beyond database management — it acts as the link between engine and transmission data and the strategic decisions that drive our client's market positioning in the powertrain industry.
Responsibilities Analyze large datasets and extract the key information.
Summarize key information in Excel and translate it into clear executive‐level PowerPoint presentations.
Act as the primary point of contact for client requests and final presentations.
Conduct in‐depth market and competitor research and analysis to define the positioning of our client's products against other market leaders.
Perform competitor analyses and compare positioning against our client's products.
Maintain daily newsfeed updates on industry trends.
Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant technical background.
Direct experience or good technical knowledge of Engines and/or Transmissions.
Mandatory experience in market research and data analysis or product strategy.
Good analytical skills and capability to translate data into strategic advice.
Advanced presentation skills (PPT and oral).
Advanced Excel skills.
High proficiency in English. Additional proficiency in French, Italian, Spanish, or Chinese is a plus.
Senior profile with at least 5 years of work experience.
