We are currently looking for a Product Portfolio Lead, Global Refinish to join our facility in Asturias, Spain.
The Product Portfolio Lead is responsible for the end‐to‐end management, optimization, and compliance of Axalta's Global Refinish product portfolios. The role ensures strong lifecycle management, effective coordination of product inventory, and full adherence to regulatory and labeling requirements. It plays a key role in continuously improving portfolio governance, processes, and ways of working. Acting as the central point of contact for global product portfolio services, the position works closely with Product Marketing, Technology, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Procurement, and regional commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and own the Axalta Refinish branded product portfolios across their full lifecycle (registration, launch, maintenance, change management, and sunset) in alignment with Global Refinish portfolio strategies.
Ensure accurate, up-to-date product master data, portfolio visibility, and lifecycle communication to internal stakeholders.
Act as the primary global interface for the Axalta Refinish business on product portfolio–related topics, documentation and issue resolution.
Coordinate creation, maintenance, translation, and publication of commercial product labels, Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Safety- and compliance-related documentation.
Partner with PSRC, Regulatory, and Labeling teams to proactively implement legislative changes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across product portfolio processes, with a strong focus on efficiency, quality, and scalability.
Support digitalization, automation, and identify global best practices to optimize workflows.
Manage and coordinate communication towards the customer with product label and packaging complaints in partnership with Quality.
Serve as a trusted portfolio subject‐matter expert for Product/Segment Marketing teams, Sales and commercial teams and Technology, Training, OPS, and Supply Chain teams.
Key Requirements
Hold Master degree (preferred) in product portfolio management, or minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial product environment, preferably within coatings or chemicals sector.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Team-oriented with a customer service mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
Analytical and process mindset with a data‐driven approach.
Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Familiarity with ERP tools (e.g., S4/Hana), product lifecycle management, regulatory compliance is a plus.
Eagerness to learn tools like Smartsheet, Asana and internal product portfolio, label and TDS management systems.
