Senior Technical Program Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished and results‑driven Senior Technical Program Manager to lead a portfolio of mission‑critical software initiatives across the organization. This role owns execution strategy, operational excellence, and organizational alignment for complex, cross‑functional programs with material business impact.
Strategic Program Leadership
* Drive the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for a portfolio of complex, multi‑year programs
* Ensure alignment with company‑level strategic priorities and clearly demonstrate business impact
* Apply strategic thinking to balance near‑term execution demands with long‑term technical and organizational objectives
Portfolio Management & Execution
* Directly lead and manage multiple high‑visibility programs from concept through deployment
* Define program scope, facilitate build‑versus‑buy analyses, and develop comprehensive business cases, charters, and execution plans
* Track progress rigorously across initiatives, ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely escalation of issues
Operational Excellence & Process Ownership
* Champion and institutionalize best‑in‑class delivery and execution practices across development teams
* Own and continuously improve processes, tools, metrics, and communication mechanisms
* Leverage data, KPIs, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement and predictable delivery
Executive Alignment & Communication
* Partner closely with Directors, Senior Staff, and executive leadership across Engineering, Product, and Business teams
* Align roadmaps, prioritize initiatives, negotiate technical and delivery trade‑offs, and facilitate critical decision‑making
* Provide concise, high‑quality reporting on program health, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to senior stakeholders and governance forums
Risk & Dependency Management
* Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate complex cross‑program risks and dependencies spanning multiple teams and organizations
* Demonstrate tenacity in driving resolution of long‑standing, ambiguous, or structurally complex challenges
* Clearly communicate impacts and proposed resolution paths to all relevant stakeholders
Performance Tracking
* Define, track, and communicate Program KPIs and Portfolio xkdbapo OKRs
* Provide transparent reporting tied to strategic business outcomes, execution health, and value delivery
Experience
* 7–10+ years of progressive experience in Technical Program Management within a large‑scale, enterprise software environment
* Proven ability to lead multi‑year, high‑impact programs across multiple organizational boundaries
* Deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud platforms, and the complexities of building and operating global, highly available systems
* Strong grounding in software development principles and the full SDLC
* Demonstrated strategic mindset with the ability to translate broad business and technical objectives into executable program plans
* High emotional intelligence, with strong interpersonal awareness and the ability to influence, negotiate, and build alignment at senior levels
* Persistence, resilience, and accountability in driving outcomes across complex organizational landscapes
* Proven success implementing, scaling, and optimizing agile delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) at team and organizational levels
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
