Role
Santander Digital Services is looking for a Security Engineer (Sec DevOps) based in Boadilla del Monte office, Madrid.
Responsibilities
- Support the Operations, Projects, and Engineering activities of the Privileged Access Management function within Santander.
- Integrate and develop solutions to enhance the PAM solution using CyberArk.
- Support PAM projects that include architecture, assessment, design, and development of PAM solutions for new business requirements, audit items, or existing defects/enhancements.
- Scope and review internal customer requests and prioritize development requests for other engineers or as directed by the PAM lead or management.
- Assist with all aspects of administering PAM solutions and services to customers.
- Produce design documents and contribute to the improvement of project strategies.
- Assist the PAM lead with design and architecture of all phases of the PAM solution and integration within the organization.
- Collaborate with vendors on deployment & integration plans, designs, and solutions.
- Plan project workloads, allocate tasks to other engineers, and monitor own tasks and progress against delivery targets.
- Develop solutions for automation of processes to increase efficiency within the team.
- Act as an escalation point for technical escalation and ensure agreed processes are understood and adhered to.
- Ensure all PAM controls are managed according to agreed processes with the CISO and global teams.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 3 + years of experience in a similar position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- English proficiency (B2/C1+ preferred).
- Spanish proficiency (professional working proficiency).
Hard Skills
- CyberArk Sentry qualification and/or CDE.
- Knowledge of web technologies and web development.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as JavaScript, React, Node JS, HTTP API, PowerShell, Bash, Python, YAML, etc.
- Experience with ETL and visualization tools such as Grafana, Influx, Tableau, Kibana.
- Knowledge of public and private cloud, IAM, and secrets management.
- 4 + years of design/development experience in CyberArk, including AIM/AAM, CPM, PSM plug‑in development.
- 6 + years of experience as a technical SME or senior engineer for Windows and *NIX operating systems.
- Experience creating credential‑management platforms for Unix, Windows, database systems, web applications, HP‑ILO, DRAC, VMware ESXi, and Tier 0 appliances/devices.
