Field Application Engineer
We are currently looking to employ a Generalist Field Application Engineer to join our Advanced Engineering team in Madrid.
Responsibilities
As a Field Application Engineer (FAE) we will expose and train you on the portfolio of the world’s top semiconductor manufacturers that offer cutting‑edge technology solutions. You will work with and recommend engineering solutions to original equipment manufacturers across your market segments, including automotive, industrial, military, commercial, medical, solid‑state lighting and many others.

The prime responsibility of a Generalist Field Applications Engineer (gFAE) is to provide applications and design solutions to the company’s customer base, utilising previous design and product knowledge gained through education, experience and training seminars held by the manufacturers for which the company is franchised.
Qualifications
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
* Degree in Electronics Engineering.
* Minimum of five years design experience either in the field or with an electronics company.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure.
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
* Proactive and results‑driven approach.
* Exceptional problem‑solving skills.
* Passionate about helping other engineers bring successful projects to market.
