What are we looking for?
We are incorporating a new INSUDER as Health and Safety Technician at our plant in León.
The challenge!
· Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS ***** or equivalent).
· Support the monitoring of preventive activities carried out by the External Prevention Service (SPA) and the implementation of the Prevention Plan across different Plant areas.
· Participate in occupational risk assessments under supervision, especially in production processes and identified risk situations in the Plant.
· Supervise the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protection in work areas.
· Assist in the management and distribution of personal protective equipment.
· Support the coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance related to safety and emergencies.
· Participate in accident investigations by gathering information and assisting in the follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
· Collaborate in the preparation and updating of safety-related documents, such as safety data sheets and self-protection plans.
· Assist in safety training and information for workers.
· Collaborate with the Health Surveillance Service and other related areas.
· Know and comply with environmental policies and applicable procedures.
· Know and observe the premises established in current environmental policy.
Know and act as set out in the environmental procedures which apply.
What do you need?
· Education: University Degree and specific qualification on Prevention of Occupational Risks.
· Languages: Spanish, intermediate English is desirable.
· Experience (years/area): +1 year of experience in security management positions, preferably in an industrial environment.
· Specific Knowledge: Occupational risk prevention (specialties of safety, hygiene and ergonomics and psychology).
Work schedule: 14:00h - 22:00h M-F or Weekends.
