Overview
Digital Solution Engineer - AI Business Process (Dutch Speaker) at Microsoft. The mission of Microsoft Business Applications is to help customers digitally transform their businesses to drive new sources of revenue, create engaging ways to serve customers, and optimize how the business runs to improve profitability. This role is within the SME&C (Small Medium Enterprises and Channel) area, a high-growth, AI-powered global sales team focused on partner collaboration and customer success. The role is for the SME-C segment, focusing on AI transformation engagements for Sales and Service domains, in collaboration with Digital AI Business Process Specialists, partners, and engineering.

Responsibilities
* Advance qualified pipeline revenue by demonstrating solution capabilities, addressing technical proof requirements, and securing the customer’s solution design endorsement.
* Own the technical win strategy for each opportunity. Engage with Business Decision Makers (BDMs) and Technical Decision Makers (TDMs) to translate priorities into a solution vision, addressing business challenges with business value and leveraging Dynamics 365 Sales & Service applications and Copilot Studio to secure technical decisions.
* Orchestrate envisioning workshops, whiteboard design sessions, and technical demos across Dynamics 365 Sales & Service applications, Copilot Studio, and AI Agents.
* Lead proof-of-concept engagements for high-priority scenarios, document outcomes, and map customer requirements into detailed technical plans, including migration pathways and risk mitigation (captured in a Technical Close Plan) for hand-off to SI partners.
* Showcase Microsoft’s value in AI-powered business process D365 solutions to win technical decisions against competitors;
address AI-related compliance, privacy, and security concerns early in the sales process and develop mitigation plans to instill confidence.
* Collaborate with the Microsoft partner ecosystem to enhance and scale solution delivery, including co-selling and co-innovation with partners (e.G., FastTrack, ISV providers).
* Work with the Customer Success Unit (CSU) and Partners to ensure customers realize value from Dynamics 365 investments, securing a clear deployment plan with success metrics and adoption milestones. Drive early adoption of Copilot Studio and Dynamics 365 AI Agents by capturing usage intent during pre-sales and including it in the Technical Close Plan.
* Commit to ongoing professional development to maintain expert-level product knowledge and strategic sales skills;
complete requiredtraining and certifications by deadlines;
achieve target proficiency levels in consultative selling and Dynamics 365 solutions.
* Proactively share insights from wins/losses with the broader SE community to scale best practices and learnings. Act as a technical thought leader by delivering content at readiness events and providing guidance to identify and win opportunities in D365 solutions.
* Address solution architecture considerations and competitive objections, and assist in formalizing the customer proposal.
Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field and technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, or equivalent experience.
* Dutch language proficiency is required.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience with cloud and hybrid/on-premises infrastructures, architecture design, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
* Certification in relevant Microsoft or industry technologies (e.G., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Administrator/Architecture/Development, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security).
