About this opportunity
We are looking for an environmental professional to join our Advisory Team, supporting Environmental Due Diligence (EDD), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Due Diligence and Sustainability Consultancy, mainly associated to the Construction and Real Estate industry.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting the delivery of sustainability advisory services, including environmental due diligence, climate risk analysis, and carbon assessments for Real Estate assets.
Producing clear and rigorous reports that evaluate environmental constraints, sustainability risks and opportunities.
Reviewing and compiling available environmental information, inventories and relevant environmental and sustainability legislation (European, national and regional)
Establishing and maintaining contact with environmental authorities where required.
Conducting on-site audits of properties to identify environmental liabilities and sustainability risks.
Supporting Sustainability Risk Analyses, including Environmental Due Diligence (EDD), ESG Due Diligence, EU Taxonomy Assessments, CRREM analysis, Decarbonisation Strategies, Carbon Footprint assessments, Biodiversity Strategies, and Climate Change risks.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of environmental consultants, engineers, and architects to deliver integrated assessments.
Preparing detailed technical reports, primarily in English.
Translating complex environmental and regulatory data into clear recommendations enabling more sustainable and resilient decisions across the built environment.
Remaining in the remit of your role and when additional responsibilities need to be carried out, conduct this in a fully informed manner with the approval of your line manager.

Who we're looking for:
Experience, Knowledge And Key Skills
Experience in preparing environmental reports and technical documentation. Preferably 1–2 years of professional experience in environmental consulting, due diligence or related fields.
Experience in environmental risk assessments for the financial market is an asset.
Knowledge of environmental legislation, particularly related to waste management, chemicals, contaminated land, wastewater, etc.
Knowledge of sustainability topics is desirable, including carbon footprint assessment, life cycle assessment (LCA), sustainable building certifications (BREEAM; LEED, WELL, etc.) and sustainability compliance.
Knowledge of LCA One Click will be an asset.
Detail-oriented professional with strong technical rigor and analytical skills. Strong ability to prepare environmental reports and clearly summarize findings.
Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to express environmental concepts in a clear, concise, and well-structured manner.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Availability to travel across Spain and Portugal to visit sites, plots, industrial facilities, or Real Estate assets.
A valid driving license is required.
High or very high levels of English and Spanish (both) are essential.
Eligible to work in Spain.
Qualifications
University degree in Environmental Sciences, Forestry Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other environmental-related university degrees or master's programs.
